Is fishing allowed at Lake Cushman?

Yes, as long as guests follow WDFW rules. Guests who intend to fish must bring a valid fishing license for each fishing person, and record any catches that the WDFW requires catch records for.

What is the Cellphone service and internet situation?

Cell phone service is not great in the Lake Cushman area. Most will have service while in the town of Hoodsport, and along Highway 101. When you head up N Lake Cushman Rd, service becomes more spotty. We have used T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T all with varying degrees of success depending which phone was used. You can connect to our fast wifi while at the home. Two of the Lake Cushman parks also have wifi.

Can we use the fire pit?

Yes. guests may use either the wood burning fire pit or the gas chimnea. Note: we do not provide firewood, so be sure to bring your own. For safety reasons, we do not provide an axe or other cutting tool, so be sure to pre-cut your wood and kindling before you arrive.
